Founder of Nandadeep Netralay
Nandadeep Eye Clinic was established in Sangli in 1980 by Dr. Dilip Patwardhan did it in a small rented space. Due to his skill in surgery and service, he soon became a popular doctor among the common people.
In 1983, he started implanting artificial lenses, at that time there were only a few specialists with such expertise.
In the year 1990, he introduced sophisticated machines like Yag Laser and Automated Perimeter, which were rare even in big metro cities at that time.
