About Nandadeep
Founded by Dr. Dileep Patwardhan in 1980, Nandadeep Eye Hospital is group of super-speciality eye hospitals. We provide all ophthalmic services under one roof with state of art equipment and best surgeons and optometrists from across India. Today, Nandadeep Eye Hospital operates 7 tertiary eye care hospitals viz. Sangli, Kolhapur, Ratnagiri, Ichalkaranji, Belgaum, Pune, Mulund and 7 vision centers across Maharashtra & Karnataka. We have experience of over 3,00,000 surgeries and we serve 80,000 patients per year.

It was 1980 when I started “नंदादीप डोळ्याचा दवाखाना ” (Nandadeep Eye Hospital) in a very small rental place in Shivaji Nagar, Sangli, Maharashtra. I had no financial backing as well as medical profession background.
