Nandadeep Eye Hospital was founded in the year 1980. Since then it has grown and became institute for training and post graduation. In the year 2011 it started fellowship in Phacoemulsification and now became one of the centres for postgraduate course in Ophthalmology & Optometry. It has started clinical Internship for optometry students since 2016.
